All of you ladies pining for the long, thick hair you weren’t born with, take note: Naomi Campbell is the poster woman for why extensions aren’t your answer.  The supermodel was vacationing in Ibiza this week, where she let her hair down — literally. While taking a dip in the ocean, she displayed a disturbingly severe receding hairline, one that experts say is a result of years of having extensions glued and sewn into her hair. The added strands rip your real hair from the roots, say experts, leaving a tender scalp and, over time, bald spots like Naomi’s.  She’s not the only star to deal with the ugly effects. Other extension-loving celebs like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears have all been snapped with patches of bare scalp and ratty roots. Even Jennifer Aniston admitted her extensions were the reason she got that short bob.
